Hey everyone! The eboard is trying to update our club roster. If you are a member and DO NOT receive the weekly emails from ACFAS National - “this week at ACFAS” - please reach out to myself or any other board member.

If you don’t get those emails, that means that nationals does not have you on their roster, thus you won’t be on ours!

Hello! Just wanted to invite you all to join ACFAS for our first general body meeting for some FREE FOOD, GIVE AWAYS, AND A RAFFLE on August 26th at noon in CLC 2.050!

We will be having several workshops throughout the school year and spaces are awarded to members first on a first come first serve basis. 1st year membership fees are $10 and 2nd year membership fees are $5 and (fill out a short application if you are a new member only)! Please reach out to me if you have any questions!

We will also be having our P1 Representative election, and you must be present to vote. So join us for a free lunch to learn more about the organization and our plans for the year, along with a raffle, and the P1 Representative elections!

Upcoming workshop!

ACFAS will be hosting a gowning and gloving workshop led by Dr. Woodard September 4th from 5:30 to 6:30pm in HSB 1.710. Dr. Woodard will be giving a small lecture on surgical techniques then students will have the chance to practice putting on a sterile gown and gloves as if prepping for the OR. In order to make it productive and beneficial for everyone, this lecture will be open ONLY to the FIRST 20 people who respond to this email! Preference will be given to those who have paid dues.
