Upcoming Free three day Infant Massage Class at Northampton Parents Center Sept. 30, Oct. 1 and 2
"Jody Wright offers a free, three-day, one-hour parent-baby infant massage class as part of each Infant Massage Instructor Certification Training she presents for professionals. Infant Massage is a wonderful way for you to get closer to your baby, support their health, reduce constipation, decrease postpartum blues, improve sleep patterns and reduce crying.
In this class, you will learn about infant massage, along with learning and practicing strokes with your baby. The first class will be taught by long-time Infant Massage Trainer, Jody Wright. The second and third class will be taught by Jody's students under her supervision. For babies up to 1 year old.
Share with friends with babies under 1.
Jody Wright is a trainer with the International Association of Infant Massage, located in
Sweden, and Infant Massage USA, its U.S. chapter. She has been doing infant massage since
1980 when she adopted her first child and asked her friend, Vimala McClure, to teach her
infant massage. She had just written a book called Infant Massage: A Handbook for Loving
Parents. Jody has raised 5 daughters in Northampton and has 6 grandchildren."

Please join us at Smith Vocational and Agricultural High School on Saturday, 09/20 from 10AM-2PM for this free event hosted by the Northampton Department of Health and Human Services. NPD Highway Safety Officer Zantrofski will be at this event along with other certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPSTs) doing car seat check-ups.
