Not everyone feels grateful, joyful, or “blessed” on Thanksgiving.
Maybe you’re grieving. Maybe you’re exhausted. Maybe family gatherings are more triggering than comforting.
If today feels heavy, here are 5 things to remember:
1. You’re allowed to have mixed feelings about the holidays.
2. You can love your family and still need boundaries.
3. Rest is productive. You don’t have to “earn” it.
4. It’s okay if your gratitude today is simply: “I made it this far.”
5. You are not behind. You are not broken. You are human.
