Yesterday, team members gathered to raise the Donate Life flag in honor of those who have given and received the gift of life

The Donate Life flag is a powerful symbol of hope, remembrance, and unity. It represents the more than 100,000 people waiting for a transplant, the over one million recipients whose lives have been saved, and the many donor families who make the selfless decision to give in times of loss.

Since last year’s flag raising, six tissue donors at Stephens have made an incredible impact, potentially improving or saving up to 450 lives. Their generosity supports everything from restoring sight to helping burn victims heal and enabling life-saving cardiac procedures.

Throughout April, Donate Life Month, this flag will fly in their honor and in recognition of every donor, recipient, and family touched by donation.
