Focused on finding the breath to calm the mind, this combination Vinyasa-Yin class was created to thank our local heroes. Balancing active & passive movements, this class inspires balance in our own lives. This class targets “stuck energy” and sore muscles that result from stress & anxiety. Yoga lets you take care of yourself so that you may care for others.

A big thank you to Taylor Carlin for the amazing workshop she hosted on Saturday and to all of our students who attended virtually and in person! With most attendees joining us virtually, we will continue to expand our virtual offerings for upcoming classes and events- stay tuned!

Taylor’s 2 hour “Happy Hips” Yoga Workshop took students on a deep dive into the anatomy of the hip, demonstrating muscles and joint movement through poses that explore hip mobility. Through this movement, Taylor teaches us how we can release stagnant energy stuck in the hips.

This workshop was broken into several sections of movement and stillness:
1. Intro to Hip Anatomy
2. Hip Vinyasa Flow
3. Intro to Fascia
4. Hip Yin Practice
5. Energy Healing & Guided Meditation
With all new flows and knowledge on the hips, we’ll see a lot of this workshop reflected in our practice this week!

Taylor also offers 1-1 energy healings that can be done virtually, so you can practice her guided meditations from anywhere! Follow her on Instagram to learn more! Thanks again Taylor and see you on the mat again soon!
