So incredibly proud of our ambassador, Kelly Paterson, who recently represented at the XTERRA World Championship! The race took place in the stunning region of Trentino, Italy, and featured a demanding course: a 1.5 km swim in the crystal-clear waters of Lake Molveno, a 32 km mountain bike ride through the technical, scenic trails of the Brenta Dolomites, and a 10 km trail run along the lake and into the surrounding mountains. Rain in the days leading up to the event made for especially tough race-day conditions, with slick and muddy trails adding to the already challenging terrain.
This race held extra meaning for Kelly, who had to withdraw last year due to injury. She’s worked incredibly hard to come back stronger, and to see her not only compete—but complete—the full course was an inspiring moment of redemption. Supporting her every step of the way was her husband and fellow ambassador, Jay Moncel, who played a key role in her race-day team.
