We FINALLY had the free time to pick up our camper today and visit our friends 🥰 they stored our belongings after Layla was life-flighted on July 5th. We can't thank Amanda Carlon and Bill Carlon for helping us thru everything and also transporting and storing our stuff XOXO yall are the BEST moto family ever 💙

Last time I saw Alyssa, Shane and Layla B we were in crisis mode. The helicopter had just left with Layla, I was panicking about everything and needed something to calm my nerves some so I had a shot with them, then left the track for the hospital. Yesterday we had to do a celebratory recovery shot! I love this family right here 💗

Closing out the season with all of our friends and family was amazing guys!! We were happy to finally introduce Layla and Greyson! Super huge thank you to the Ducharme family for loaning us their camper, thank you to Amanda and Dan for coordinating food for us, Thank you AJ Davis of Davis Boys Racing for sponsoring our gas and propane bill for the weekend, thank Majestic River Entertainment for sponsoring our grocery bill for the weekend, thank you to those who came by to introduce yourselves and talk with us, thank you to everyone who spoiled Layla with gifts, thank you to the sweet kids that said Hello to Layla every time they walked by her too! And thank you to the staff at Valley Mx made us feel at home 🥰

Andrew Benett created a kids supercross board game and gave our family 50 of them to sell and use for Layla's recovery. We brought them to Valley Mx so if anyone is interested we are up at the pavilion!

It was kinda crummy reading some of the comments today. All she did was start her bike, she didn't ride it. We know she can't ride it and clearly I told her she can't ride it in the video. She can't hold it up by herself, she's wobbly still. She needed this though. She doesn't remember what happened, all she remembers is loving her bike and loving racing. She is fully aware that she can't ride and/or race again until the doctor clears her... AND if I even let her again. Some people don't understand her and don't understand this way of life. Lots of decisions will be had in the future, but us letting her start her bike didn't mean anything other than we let her start her bike yesterday 😊 I had to delete some things today, let's be kind as Layla also reads this page now please

Ps. She has bike stands, they weren't at our house at the time. She has two bikes and I have a yz250, we have several stands. Those comments kinda made me feel judged like we were poor...I simply wanted to stabilize her with what I had laying around🤣 oh and also, she wasn't going to be riding it so she didn't need a helmet
