What did you actually accomplish in Q1?
Not what you planned. Not what you hoped for. What actually happened?
For us, Q1 wasn’t just a list of goals - it was movement, momentum, and a lot of miles.
We:
→ Met with Sprouts team
→ Got new products approved at Whole Foods & Sprouts
→ Saw new products on key account shelves (still surreal every time)
→ Exhibited at KeHE Summer Show in Denver + Expo West in CA
→ Showed up in a Sprouts parking lot event (yes, literally with 103º)
→ Started a new partnership with a former client
→ Executed an intense 8-week inside sales project with samples shipped to stores
And in between all of that?
We were on the road… a lot. Almost 9k miles in just 3 months.
Milford. Ohio. St. Louis. Salinas. Denver. Rapid City. Rawlins. St. George. Anaheim. San Diego. Joshua Tree. Phoenix. Albuquerque. Oklahoma City. Memphis. Nashville. Roanoke. Greenwood Lake.
Store visits. Team moments. Strategy sessions. Late nights. Early mornings.
And Simba living his best life in the sun somewhere along the way.
We wrapped the quarter with a 2-day strategy session with the French Transit leadership team… and kicked off April at the Smart Marketer Round Table Live.
A lot of inspiration.
A lot of ex*****on.
A lot of memories.
Now it’s time to download everything we learned, sharpen the strategy, and build an even stronger Q2.
