September 22 marks the first day of the Fall season! As we move from sunny hot summer temperatures to cold dark winter nights, the Fall season helps make the transition from one season to another more enjoyable. Maintaining balance during this time when schedules get busier, school work and extracurricular activities add up, can help make the shift from lightness to darkness less stressful and prevent burnout. Fall is a fun time for celebration. It is a time where we offer gratitude toward the earth and the abundance that the fall harvest has to offer. We can challenge ourselves to change our perspective, shift our habits and find a new sense of purpose. Refocus on what is important and meaningful in your life and practice activities to develop a sense of awareness, focus and balance.
