HSHS St. Elizabeth's Auxiliary recently celebrated and thanked our outstanding Auxiliary volunteers at a holiday appreciation dinner. We are deeply grateful for their many hours of dedication and service to our patients, visitors and hospital. đź’™ In 2025, through fundraising efforts, the St. Elizabeth's Auxiliary volunteers donated four $750 scholarships to local students in the medical field and a gorgeous outdoor nativity set! Thank you for all that you do for HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital.

Additionally, during the dinner, Patrick Cummins was sworn in as the new president of HSHS St. Elizabeth's Auxiliary by former president Steve Mudd. Thank you for your dedication, Steve, and congratulations to Patrick!

Monday, Jan. 26 services updates:
▪️Imaging Center open at 9 a.m.
▪️Convenient Care delayed open at 9 a.m.
▪️Pain Management delayed open at 9 a.m.
▪️Cardiac Rehab Closed
▪️Outpatient Therapy (all locations) open at Noon
▪️Wound Care Clinic delayed open at 10:30 a.m.

As a reminder, our Emergency Department is always open for your emergency needs. Individuals with chest pain or major trauma should not delay care. If you are experiencing these symptoms, you should call 9-1-1- immediately.ed

In 2025, HSHS St. Elizbeth’s Hospital celebrated 150 years of caring for the community of Southwestern Illinois. Thank you to everyone who made last year so special. We had many accomplishments this year, including a visit from our Hospital Sisters, and breaking ground on our hospital’s new growth projects. During respiratory illness season, we are implementing the following visitor guidelines across our HSHS Illinois and Wisconsin hospitals as a precautionary measure to help protect our colleagues, patients and visitors:

Only two people are allowed to visit a patient at any one time.

Also, please do not visit patients if you:
• Have a cold or any flu-like symptoms including, fever or chills, sore throat, body or muscle aches, headache, cough or runny nose
• Are under 18 years of age

Heard we're sharing photos from 2016...

2016 brought unforgettable moments and major milestones to HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital. Construction was rolling at our current O'Fallon location, and we placed the final beam signed by colleagues, launched HSHS Rescue Flight, installed our first da Vinci surgical robot, and had lots of fun with our colleagues!
