Some more “Soul” offerings! Restorative Yoga and Reiki at Hot Asana NoCo!
“Sarah is a third-generation Reiki practitioner. While her grandmother and mother focused their healing work on people, Sarah felt called from a young age to support animals. That early pull shaped a 20-year career in professional animal care, with roles at Zoo Atlanta, NOAA Fisheries, and the U.S. Army.
A decade ago, a profound encounter with a medicine woman awakened a dormant spark. The woman recognized Sarah’s innate ability to channel healing energy, encouraged her to walk confidently in her gift, and offered her blessing.
Sarah later received her formal Reiki training from Libby Barnett—a nurse, the longest-practicing Reiki Master on the East Coast, and cofounder of the Reiki Volunteer Programs in several Boston-area hospitals. In the lineage of her mother and grandmother, Sarah’s attunements with Libby were vivid, powerful, and arrived with ease. While the majority of Sarah’s clients are horses, she also opens office hours for people too.
As an intuitive and empath, Sarah now stands fully in her work, weaving Reiki with the yoga practices she deeply loves. Her study of the body’s fascia, the subtle shifts of the nervous system, and the restorative power of stillness has drawn her into the heart of Yin and Restorative Yoga.
Sarah is profoundly grateful for the students who have joined her recent sessions, and to Chellsey at Hot Asana for embracing her yoga/reiki offerings.
This December 21st, as we near the final days of the Year of the Snake, and on the Solstice - Sarah feels called to offer a powerful reset: a Restorative Yoga class supported by props that invite deep physical rest, paired with Reiki to soothe, smooth, and realign the energetic body.”
Amid a season of movement, meetings, and momentum, take a 90-minute pause just for you. 🤍🙏
