I just have to take a moment to give the BIGGEST shoutout to 🎀 ButterflyGiGi

She truly came through for me in the best way possible. If you’ve ever made a shaker and thought “why are my pieces not moving?!” 😩 this one is for YOU. I’ve been seeing so many creators struggle with shaker fillers sticking, clumping, or getting damaged — especially decals and UV pieces — so here’s this week’s trick that actually works ✨

All you need is a simple paintbrush (yes, even a Dollar Tree one 👀). Lightly dip it into a small amount of resin and gently brush just the top of your shaker pieces. You’re not coating them heavily — this is a thin, protective layer. Cure it, and that’s it. This seals the decal or UV design so it stays intact and allows the pieces to move freely without sticking or tearing.

I’ve tested this in dry shakers and liquid shakers, and the movement speaks for itself. Smooth flow, no damage, no frustration. This tip is perfect whether you’re just starting out or selling your work and want that professional finish.

Today I’m sharing the making of our two newest baby badge reels and I’m honestly obsessed with how they turned out. First up, our Black History Month babies created with so much love, intention, and pride. From choosing the colors and details to making sure every glitter layer shines just right, these babies truly represent beauty, culture, and celebration. 🖤✊🏾

Then we switched gears and brought the fun with our Mardi Gras babies 🎭💜💛💚. Bold colors, festive vibes, and all the sparkle you expect! Watching them come to life through each step is always my favorite part glittering, decaling, sealing, and that final reveal when they’re perfectly finished.

Behind the scenes of something super special 💖🎈

This right here is my very first freshie EVER, and while I didn’t pour the freshie myself, I did bring it to life in my own way ✨ I bought these freshies pre-baked and let me tell you… even glittering and rhinestoning is a whole art form on its own 😅 Freshie makers really make this look so easy, but whew—there’s way more patience involved than I expected.

For my very first one, I knew it had to be something fun and cute, so of course I went with a balloon dog and made it Valentine’s Day themed 💕🎀 The hearts, the pink details, and all the sparkle made this little guy extra special. Every rhinestone, every bit of glitter, and every tiny detail was done with so much love.

Was it perfect? Nope. Was it a learning experience? Absolutely. But I’m so proud of how it turned out! Sit back, enjoy the behind-the-scenes, and watch me learn, grow, and create along the way ✨
