Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤️ We officially escaped the hospital at 10 PM last night, only for Jett to wake me up at 5:30 AM with: “Mom, my machine is beeping!” 🚨 I’ll admit, my first thought was: “Oh boy, it’s going to be a LONG three months...” 🫠🤷‍♀️😂
But today, my heart is full because the universe (and Disney!) stepped in. ✨
As many of you know, Jett finished his final round of chemo 2 weeks ago🎗️💪 and he'll finish radiation on his pelvis Tuesday. To celebrate his 15th birthday on March 11th, he had one wish: Disneyland. 🏰
The doctor gave us the green light, but we hit a snag—our "Jetts support squad" of 13 was too large for a reservation at his favorite spot, Blue Bayou. I reached out to Disney, and they went above and beyond. Not only did they call me personally, but they are making a huge exception to host all 13 of us and are even making sure Jett has a special celebration cake! 🎂
Thank you, Disneyland, for seeing our brave boy. We can’t wait to celebrate Jett under the pirates' stars! 🏴‍☠️✨ Talk about a Valentine’s miracle. My eyes are tired, but my heart has never been bigger. 🌹✨ Jett and I hope you all have a magical Valentine's Day. ❤️

I’ve officially been trained on managing Jett’s hydration and electrolytes through his port. He’ll be on a continuous 24/7 infusion through May, which means daily bag swaps and battery changes for his pump. The only "break" he gets is a 30-minute window for a shower every 24 hours. Luckily, the whole setup fits in a backpack so he isn't stuck in one spot! Between the infusion, the weekly port needle changes, and his 52 daily pills, it’s a major adjustment, but we are ready. Our biggest hope is that this routine keeps him home and out of the hospital. The best news? We get to head home after radiation today! Just in time for the weekend. Jett’s journey is far from over, but we’re taking it one step at a time.

Okay, y’all saw the post last week... My son sleeping with his mouth open a little 😂 He told me, “Mom, why did you post that my mouth is open?!” and I told him the truth: “Boy, you are handsome!” 👀
Well, look at the progress! Mouth closed, perfectly still, and looking like a literal angel. ✨ I’m officially his #1 Paparazzi Fan, and clearly, my photography skills (and his sleeping skills) are reaching a whole new level! 📈👑
He’s resting, he’s healing, and he’s still the most handsome guy I know. Just don’t tell him I was back at it again with the camera! 🤫🏃‍♀️💨 (i'll get caught because he reads the posts) 😬😂

Jett's labs looked good at midnight so now we're just waiting on lab results from this morning to see if we can leave today. If not today it will be tomorrow. 🙏

Jett is officially a Stanford warrior! He told me they should have a statue in his honor 👀😂🛡️✨He has been here a week today for this latest admission ❤️‍🩹
Being at Stanford Children’s isn't easy, but this kid handles every hurdle with more grace than I ever could. We are so proud of his strength and his spirit through this fight.
The secret to his resilience? Aside from his incredible doctors, family, and supporters.... it definitely has to be the Starbucks Vanilla Bean Frappuccino with that extra caramel drizzle. ☕️🍯 It’s the little wins (that bring smiles) that get us through the tough days.
Jett will never stop fighting. I know we are all right behind him cheering him on. We have no date yet on when he will be discharged hopefully soon though 🙏

🏥 Stanford Update: VR Gaming & Nurse Mom Era! 🕹️👩‍⚕️
We’re still hanging out at Stanford, but we are definitely finding the fun in the chaos! Here is the latest on Jett:
• The Stats: Still working on getting those Potassium and Phosphorus levels up. 📈 Jett’s body is taking its sweet time, but the doctors are on it! 🔋
• Virtual Warrior: Jett is officially a Digital Ninja! 🥷 He’s using a VR headset for a trial to exercise his arms, and it is the funniest thing to watch. He’s out here battling imaginary villains while doing his physical therapy. 🥽 Moving those arms like a pro—rehab is a lot more entertaining when it feels like a high-score streak! 🎮🔥
• The Promotion: I’m officially adding "Nurse Mom" to my resume! 🎓 They are teaching me how to run his IV meds through his port so we can eventually bust out of here and do this at home. 🏠💉
It’s a lot to learn, but I’m ready to get my boy back to his own turf. Thank you for all the love and prayers! Jett's got this. 💪✨

Update on Jett 🧡
It’s been a bit of a whirlwind the last couple of days. Jett was admitted Wednesday night with a low-grade fever, which meant we had to hit pause on his radiation for the day.
The good news? He was fever-free yesterday morning and was able to get his radiation treatment! The doctors have been running plenty of tests, and even did blood culture tests with a sample of blood from Wednesday and a sample of blood from yesterday. We are relieved to share that all the infection screens came back negative. To keep his strength up, he’s received:
• Blood and platelet transfusions the last two evenings.
• Potassium and phosphorus infusions early Thursday morning. 
• Jett got an extra round last night too to help with low electrolyte levels.
Because his levels are still a bit low, they’ve placed an IV in his arm and we will be staying through the weekend to make sure he’s stable and supported. Around 7pm last night the low grade fever came back, but as of early this morning it is gone.
Jett is Neutropenic🫤 This always happens to Jett around a week after chemo has finished and his last chemo finished last Friday. He's thankful that this will be his last admission for this since he completed his chemo last week. 
Thank you all for the continued love and prayers for our brave guy. We’re taking it one step at a time! ✨

Jett’s “Little Wish” came true today, and our hearts are just overflowing! ❤️✨
Through the Gold Rush Cure Foundation, Jett got to make a special wish. For himself, he chose a piece of history: a $10 bill from the 1920s! 💵📜
But the most beautiful part? He wanted to make sure his sisters felt the magic, too. He picked out these stunning Shooting Star rings from Pandora. He said one star represents him and the other represents his sister, so they’ll always be connected. 🌟💍
We are so proud of his kind heart and the way he always thinks of others. Such a special day for Jett and his sisters! 💕💕

Stanford did it again!!! 🌲✨ They completely surprised Jett with suite tickets to the Warriors game tonight! 🏀 He finished his last chemo at 5 AM this morning. We are now at the game!!! Our hearts are so full seeing him this excited. Huge thank you to the amazing team at Stanford for making this happen. Let’s go Dubs! 💙💛
