✨✨✨Neuromodulators like , , or can be equally effective in all skin types, all genders, and varied age ranges. ✨✨✨
This is why it is one of my most favorite procedures to perform. My goal with treatment is to achieve a natural youthful look without looking “frozen” or “unnatural”!! 😉
✨✨✨My lovely patient has been kind enough to give his permission for this video to be shown on IG because he wants to educate others and show people how straightforward and easy the procedure is!! 👏👏👏
However, it is not a one size fits all. A person with smaller facial muscles will need a different dose than someone with more robust muscles in the same area. Asymmetry, which is found in almost everyone, must be noted and adjusted as appropriate. Good knowledge of anatomy is a must!!!
Although we never know how a person will respond to any procedure, qualified and experienced injectors are best able to estimate the appropriate dose and use the appropriate technique to maximize outcomes!!!! ✨✨✨

✨✨😃You can see my lovely patient with improvement of her “gummy smile” with a little bit of Botox. ✨✨✨👍👍👍
What a big difference it has made for her self confidence!!!😁😁😃
A “gummy smile” is the term used most commonly for excessive gingival display. ✨✨✨
People may become self-conscious about their smiles and will try to cover their mouths when they laugh or smile without showing their teeth. It can affect one’s self confidence! 😞😫😑
Why does this occur? Natural variations in the eruption process of teeth can give rise to variations in the normal proportions and relationships of teeth to gum tissues, which can result in shorter than normal teeth and gumminess of the smile. A gummy smile is typically caused by genetics, though it can also be the result of certain medications.
Prior to Botox, surgical procedures were the only way to improve the appearance of a gummy smile. 😳
Botox is a non invasive way to temporarily treat this condition with minimal adverse effects. ✨✨✨ Botox works by temporarily relaxing the elevator muscles so that they don’t drastically raise your upper lip.
This is an off label use of the medication, so please make sure to speak to a board certified dermatologist about the risks and benefits of the procedure!!!

So excited for all the hard working pixar crew!!!! 🎉💕 Congratulations!!
