MY PERSONAL OPINION
TOPIC: I AM A CATHOLIC PRIEST AND I DON'T SPEAK EVIL ABOUT MOTHER MARY
If you are having a serious headache because we Catholics are honouring that woman whom God first honoured, it means you don't even understand the root of your faith as a Christian. If you fall on your knees before Jesus as your Lord and personal saviour, but then rise to call his own mother ridiculous, nasty and humiliating names, it means you don't even know what it means you don't even know the teachings of Jesus himself. If you hail Jesus as your Lord and God, but then point accusing fingers on his own mother and call her that 'woman from hell,' then be sure that hell is not far from you. If you can respect and bow low before the mother of your friend, but then arrogantly rain insults on the mother of God, can't you see that something is wrong with you? That woman who first bore God in her womb is not a tomb, and no matter how you bomb her eternal virginity, maternity, motherhood, dignity and integrity with your religious and verbal missiles, you can't stop her from being your mother and indeed, our mother. One thing about mother Mary is that even while you insult her, she loves you endlessly as your mother. Her love is unlimited and her intercession is ceaseless. Don't let anyone decieve you; Mary is the mother of God and our mother also.
If you are having heart attack because our mother Mary is called the mother of God, it means you don't even know what is written in that big Bible that you are carrying about. If you can climb your altar and utter vulgar and insulting statements that are directed to the mother of Christ, then you are not worthy to climb the pulpit on that altar, because you are still in a pit of darkness and ignorance has seduced you. If you are greatly pained because we are hailing that woman whom God's own angel first hailed, then you have not truly being nailed on the Cross with Christ. If you have the guts to speak unspeakable evil against the woman who crushed the head of our infernal enemy, then the enemies of our faith are on your tail. If you have fallen into depression because of the great frustration that you feel at Mary being honoured by the Church of God, then you are not at home with the scriptures. See, if a man can sit and intellectually try to disprove the virginal conception of Mary, such a man is ignorant of God. The motherhood of Mary is not dependent on your believing it or not; God's ways are different from our ways. Mary is the mother of us all!
I am a Catholic priest and I am a son of Mary, and I am not ashamed to be called her ardent and relentless devotee. I cannot be deceived because I have had first hand encounter with Mary the mother of God. When men in power wrote me off and waited to see me swept off, my mother Mary took me off their island of damnation, wickedness, hatred, prophecies of doom and transformed all their planned frustration for me into songs of jubilation. Don't be deceived; our mother Mary is the mother of God and she never stands by as a passive observer even as the problems of life try to murder us. She who interceded for the couple at Cana is still soliciting and interceding for us her children. Don't let anyone fool you or even use you as a tool to fight our mother Mary. It's a fight you will never win. It is through Mary that we succeed...
