Sometimes holding hurts worse than letting go.
When you really do the work to heal you realize how much you hurt yourself by holding on to situations, conversations, and feelings that were meant to grow your capacity and discernment.
You realize some people are meant to keep at a distance while others are designed to be kept close and you’ll always mistake one for the other if you treat the moments meant to heal as cause for making a movement out of shutting down, avoiding, or being angry.
Yes, take it personally but don’t hold it privately. If you’re not willing to talk about it, get help, or open up it’s probably the most urgent thing you need to address.
We’re all here figuring out life. Don’t let the unhealed part of you convince you to do it alone.
Healing has a spiritual and physical algorithm. If your whole circle is unhappy, depressed, or doing bad, you don’t have a community you have a cage.
