Maybe I've been watching too much Grey's Anatomy lately? 😘
I came across something today that really got me thinking…

✨️Here’s the simple truth most people don’t talk about:

Yes… Cutting out a lot of processed foods, sugars, and heavy starches like bread and pasta for a couple of weeks can make a BIG difference!
Not because carbs are “bad”… But because most people are overdoing the wrong kinds.

When you simplify your foods down to things like:
☆Protein
☆Fruits
☆Vegetables
☆Healthy fats
☆Water and hydration

Your body finally gets a break from the constant spikes, crashes, cravings, and inflammation.

And guess what happens???
😲Cravings calm down.
😲Energy levels out.
😲Fat loss often follows.

But let’s talk about what does matter:

💥Your brain DOES need carbs.
In fact, it uses around 120 grams of glucose a day just to function properly. That’s real science.🧪🔬🥼👩‍🔬

So no, we are not eliminating carbs forever over here.

Fruits and vegetables ARE carbs…
But they come with fiber, nutrients, and don’t hit your body the same way as processed foods.

Big difference!

The goal isn’t “no carbs.”
The goal is better carbs and better balance.☯️⚖️

And this is the part I love most…💗🫶🏻💗

If you can give your body even 2 weeks of:
✅️Less processed food
✅️More protein
✅️More whole foods
✅️More hydration

You will start to feel a shift.

Not just physically… But mentally too! 🧠

Add in strength training🏋‍♀️ a couple times a week, even at home, and now you’re not just losing weight… You’re building strength, confidence, and a body that actually works for you!

Simple does not mean easy.
But simple DOES work.

So here’s your gentle Sunday reset:

1️⃣Focus on protein first.
2️⃣Choose whole foods over processed.
3️⃣Hydrate like it matters… Because it does.
4️⃣Move your body in a way that builds you up, not burns you out.

🍓FUN FACT: STRAWBERRIES are one of the most popular berries in the world.

Not only are they sweet and delicious, but they also are surprisingly good for you.

✅ They are an excellent source of important vitamins and minerals, including vitamin C, manganese, folate, & potassium.

All of that contributes to a healthy immune system, lower blood pressure, and may even offer some protection against certain birth defects.

PLUS … strawberries are a great source of antioxidants that are known to fight bacteria, lower cholesterol and blood sugars, promote heart health, and even fight some cancers!

They also are a source of fiber that can feed the good bacteria in your gut and help keep your digestive system running smoothly.

Eat them raw, stirred into oatmeal, blitzed into smoothies, or added to chia puddings and jams. So good!

👉 TIP: When possible, choose organic strawberries because conventionally raised berries generally contain a wide range of pesticides.

Happy Monday!🎉
Not everyone wants caffeine overload…
But ALSO… Not everyone wants to feel like a zombie🧟‍♀️ halfway through the day either! 😅

There’s a sweet spot that a lot of people are missing 👉 Hydration + gentle aenergy.

And this is something I’ve been loving lately!

Can we be honest for a second…
I don’t wake up and chug water and have my whole life together.. 😅

I wake up, make my hot Spark, and sit down for a few quiet minutes with my animals just to get my brain working.🫶🏻🐾🧠🔋

And honestly… That little moment?
It matters more than people think!!

Because before the chaos starts…
I gave myself a second to just be.✨️🫶🏻✨️

If this week felt off, heavy, or like you were just going through the motions…

Here’s your reminder:
You don’t need a full reset...
You just need a few small shifts!

This is what I’m focusing on today 👇

✨ 1. Start your morning in a way that works for YOU!💜
Not what social media says.

If it’s quiet time, a warm drink, sitting on the couch for a few minutes…
That counts.

✨ 2. Then… Hydrate (yes, I’m talking to myself too)🤣.
Once I’m up and moving, I make sure I actually start getting water(Rehydrate)in.

Hydration+Energy = a completely different option!

✨ 3. Eat something that supports your energy
If you’ve been running on snacks, sugar, or skipping meals… Focus on at least 20-30g protein- matched with a healthy carb and healthy fat such as 3-4 eggs🥚🍳, whole wheat toast🍞 and 1/2 an avocado🥑.

✨ 4. Move your body just a little!!👣👣
This is not an all-or-nothing thing.

Even 5–15 minutes helps your mood, your stress, and your energy.

✨ 5. Pick ONE thing for the week...
Not a full life overhaul.

Just one thing you’re committing to:
💦More water
🌅Better mornings
🍽Not skipping meals
✅️More consistency

That’s how real change actually happens!

Glowy but grown reflection

Not gonna lie… this month has had its moments

But I have showed up more than I didn’t.

Drank more water.
Moved my body (even when I didn’t feel like it).
