After more than 20 years of basic research on homeopathy, Stephan Baumgartner, Ph.D. (and one of Europe's top scientists in environmental physics) has come to the conclusion that the results of his research group's experiments with homeopathy cannot be reconciled with the hypothesis that homeopathic preparations are pure placebos.
In an extensive, blinded, and randomized series of experiments, they have repeatedly found clear empirical evidence for specific biological effects of even highly diluted homeopathic potencies.
In the coming years, the team's research will focus on elucidating the active principle of homeopathic preparations in order to answer the question of how the observed effects of homeopathy can be explained.
