Baby Bella Dockery suffers from a rare disease called Fucosidosis. Treatment: No treatment or way to reverse. She is well protected and loved.

This page is designed to make others aware of this rare disease Fucosidosis(Foo-coe-sy-doe-sis) (extremely rare (less than 100 documented cases) only affecting 1:2,000,000). Treating symptoms to make the individual more comfortable. In 10 yr old Bella's case she is showing signs of bone deterioration in her extremities which as some of you may know is or can be painful. Bella needs and has 24 hr care from her parents (Joe Dockery & Cheryl Closs) and little sister. She will be needing more and more medical attention as time progresses. She will need medical aides(i.e: walker, wheelchair, etc) to keep her mobile. She is a precious little girl who is happy, very loving and very loved by her immediate and extended family. We all want her to be as comfortable as possible. This page was designed to assist her and her family (my (Mary) cousins and Loreen's grand daughter) to help Bella in her time of need. We will have a donation button for monetary help and physical address of bank for those who would like to donate by snail mail. We will set up a way to contact us so that if you have a medical aide to assist her it can be arranged for pick up or delivery. This update comes with a desperate plea for you to pray for Joe and his family.
Today, Sunday, Joe and Cheryl took their daughter, Bella, to the hospital due to a terrific seizure. While having her cared for Joe said he did not feel right. He sat down then stopped breathing! A team of doctors rushed in to get Joe back which they did successfully. Joe was then transported back to the hospital where his cardiac dr. resides. Both are still in two separate hospitals. Prayers are needed!
While we are at it...Joe and his family are still in need of funds. They are still waiting for assistance from disability. Thank you for every little bit you can give! From our family to yours, much love!

Friends it has just been brought to my attention that my cousin Little Bella has finally been approved to see a specialist that has been a YEAR in the making! BUT we have run into an issue that brings me here to pull on your generosity bone!

Her daddy Joe has been working everyday to keep food on the table and a roof over their heads. Her momma Cheryl is her full time caretaker. They are now both using one car as the truck is broken beyond what they can afford to fix. Which leaves the car....yes, you guessed it....it is on it's last legs!!

They did their homework to find the right vehicle and are looking at a Quest...a van type vehicle which they need to transport Bella back and forth to her medical appts which are many!
