Did you know HPV (human papillomavirus) is the most common sexually transmitted infection in the U.S., with nearly 14 million new cases each year? While most infections go away on their own, some can lead to serious conditions like cervical, throat, or a**l cancer.

The HPV vaccine (Gardasil) is the most effective way to prevent these complications. Recommended for children ages 11–12 and young adults up to 26, the vaccine protects against the types of HPV most likely to cause cancer or infection.

Schedule an appointment with Dr. Poorti Riley, MD at Florida Women’s Health in Ocala to discuss how you or your children can stay protected.
