I realized that no matter how many shifts I picked up, I could never get ahead. In 2010, with the support and encouragement of my wife, I took a leap of faith and started our own private care home business and a non-medical home care agency. Together, we built something from nothing-just a vision and a passion for helping others. Within one year, we went from making just $500 per week to bringing in over $5,000 a week. And we did all of this while working from home for the first two years before expanding into a 2,500 square foot office. Many people believe that getting more degrees will automatically lead to more money. But the truth is- building a business that generates income even while you sleep is the real key to financial freedom. I accomplished all of this with nothing more than a GED.
