Morning Sunshine! Another day in horse paradise today! Lots to talk about in the horse world right now with the EHV -1 situation. For the meantime, all scheduled events for November are canceled barn calls, and Haul In’s will proceed with safety precautions, including temperature checks and hand sanitization between patients and a quick interview over the phone to determine if horses have traveled have been exposed or may have been exposed and be carriers. I’m awaiting further clarification from the Florida Veterinary Association for further information and clarification, not secondhand social media information.
