AAC stands for Augmentative & Alternative Communication, and it’s all about supporting people who communicate in different ways. 💬

AAC can look different for everyone:

💻 Text-to-speech programs
🗣️ Gestures, facial expressions, and body language

No matter the method, all forms of communication are valid. Every person deserves a voice, and AAC helps make that possible. 💙

This month, let’s spread awareness, celebrate AAC users, and remind the world that communication is more than just spoken words — it’s connection, expression, and empowerment. 🌍💡

While we did not get to participate in Give4Marion this year (we missed the sign up window), we would still love your consideration for when you are looking for a non-profit to support over the next couple of days. We are a 501c3 who supports our local autism community with speech and language scholarships, AAC scholarships and advocates for playground communication boards.
