We don’t simply provide Elderberry syrup… We live with elderberry, we grow it and we can tell you everything involved. Additionally, we provide the trees so that YOU can grow if for yourself!

February is hard pruning month. Meaning we cut as many of the branches off as we can. We also cut as much of the trunks off as we can. We do this “haircut” in order to benefit the health of the tree so that the following year it thrives better than the previous.

Tuna salad made with yogurt when we don’t feel like making mayo 👇

1 pack of tuna
1/2 C plain yogurt
Juice of 1/2 freshly squeezed lemon
Sea salt to taste
Blk pepper to taste
Cut up scallion to taste
1 chopped celery stalk
Optional- A dollop of Dijon mustard
Optional- Dried cranberries or raisins
Optional- Goat cheese
Green leafies underneath

That coffee calls in the morning, I know. What’s that doing for us, health wise though? We were convicted about this a couple years ago.

Mornings are a gift. A chance, every day to start fresh… With gratitude (thank you Jesus), and great appreciation for our able body and health.

We started making sure we have green juice in the morning before anything else- fueling our cells & immune system. Only after, do we then enjoy (like truly enjoy it… slowly) our morning coffee.

It’s not only good discipline, but it feels good, it’s refreshing, and creates motivation to make healthful choices the rest of the day.

This has been good for us. Maybe you’re feeling blah in the morning/in general. Maybe switching up your morning routine wll be helpful.

Pancakes on this chilly morning 🤤 If you want healthier baked stuff, using freshly milled organic flour is the way to go. We do mill our own grain, but while we wait on our grains to come in, we purchased fresh flour from Fresh Flours Milling & Baked Goods. They’re our newest addition to the Ocean Springs Fresh Market so you can get freshly milled flour every Saturday.

The syrup we use is also from our market’s once/twice a year Wisconsin farmer. Keep up with the market’s page to know when they’re coming!
