If you’re not in the MS Gulf Coast area, we will get our Elderberry trees to you! The Elderberry tree is a beautiful blessing of a tree and we want to make it easy for our out-of-towners to produce the flowers & berries for themselves.

How it works: We take cuttings from our own trees, root them for you (process takes approximately 4 weeks, plus or minus), wrap the roots, ensuring they stay moist, then send them out. This way, by the time they reach you, they have a head start in development. If you don’t want us to root them for you, just say the word & we’ll ship the cuttings out right away.

Once the trees reach you, place them in a bucket of water to get nice & rehydrated, then put them in their permanent home to establish & flourish.

Elderberry can be a cute potted leafy plant, or a high yielding berry producing tree in the ground… It’s up to you.

$5/each + shipping/shipping materials. Minimum 2 per order.

If you’re local, we provide Elderberry trees- established roots & in pots at the Ocean Springs Fresh Market every Saturday.

Because every family needs their own Elderberry tree!

Ooowee we’re thankful for our circle of peeps! We don’t have ducks, but our close friend does. I’m so glad because duck eggs were a game changer in my homemade pancakes… And I looove to make the best for my family.

If you don’t have a circle of homesteading/farming friends, you can quickly find one at local farmers markets. If those at market don’t raise or grow an ingredient you desire, someone there will most likely know someone who does.

You won’t regret visiting the Ocean Springs Fresh Market (open every Saturday 9am-1pm). Local meats, local milk, local produce, local mushrooms, local chicken eggs, local plants, etc. Goooood stuff and good peeps willing to talk to you about the raising/growing process, and answer any other questions you have.

Early Spring projects are gettin knocked out thanks to the rockin men in our family🥰Garden bed making and garden bed fortifying has been keeping us all busy! The latest project: Beds made of wooden frames with metal interior.

There are metal bed options to purchase if you’d rather not build, but our family chooses to put in a little sweat and save money where we can.

Oh happy day… Our Moringa Trees (aka Miracle Tree, Drumstick Tree, etc.) are coming out of dormancy! We wait all cool weather season for this 😍

It’s easy to believe those which take longer to show you their new growth, are dead; but keep in mind- some simply take longer to wake up.

If the root of the tree is hard & white (as opposed to mushy/rotten), it’s in good shape. Don’t pull it out of the soil yet!

Below, is a Moringa we cut back to about a foot tall as after the tree stopped producing in early winter.
