Two midwives heading home after a sweet, sweet little one made their appearance. It’s always a bonus when we have a beautiful birth and then get to have our post birth “business meeting” enjoying beautiful views like this one.

If you need herbal tinctures Frazier Farms is have a sale for 25% off all Herb Pharm Brand! I absolutely love their “Fast Asleep” and “Daily Immune Builder” blends! Picked up a couple tinctures and what are hopefully going to be “birth food snacks” on my way home from my beach walk this morning. 💜🌊

Welcome! I’m a Licensed Midwife and love Supporting women and their families through gentle, empowered birth. It truly is such an honor to be part of this special time. My practice is focused on providing a personalized approach, rooted in evidence for every single client and family.

Beyond midwifery, you can find me homeschooling our 5 kiddos, managing a house filled with pets, and soaking in the California sunshine on my daily walks.

My husband is in the Marine Corps and we have spent over 23 years exploring life together across the US and Japan before landing here in Oceanside, CA.

Whether you’re looking for midwifery care, placenta services, pre/postpartum support, birth rentals, or birth worker training, I’d love to connect! Fill out an inquiry form with the link in my bio and we can chat.

Welllll it may be March… but I’m finally sharing my 2025 stats! 😅 When I said I took January and most of February off, I really meant it. 🥴😂

One thing that’s really important to me as a midwife is collecting and sharing birth statistics. Transparency in birth work matters, and these numbers help paint a bigger picture of outcomes and the work we do in our communities. I’m moving all my numbers over to “The Community Birth Data Registry”. If you are a midwife you have to check out the amazing work they are doing on helping create an amazing database for meaningful, relevant data collection. Plus if you are a CA Licensed Midwife check out the benefit that CALM is offering for CBDR to its members.

Last year was a full one for our family. With my husband deployed, I needed to take some big chunks of time off call from births to slow down and focus on home. Looking back, I’m honestly giving myself — and our kids — a big pat on the back for how much we handled and how well we thrived while he was away. AND so, so thankful to have him back! 💜 But this decision to slow down and really focus on personalized care is one I am continuing so please reach out early if you are interested in care.

That said… if you know a military family (especially with the operation tempo picking up again), give them a hug. Truly. I forgot how much deployments just are draining.

I’m so thankful for the incredible families who welcomed me into such a sacred season of their lives. Being invited into those moments never stops feeling like an honor. I truly love what I do and love my clients. Very few people have the honor of saying that.

I also genuinely love assisting other midwives, and it means so much when someone asks me to assist them — because I know how picky I am about who I ask to assist me. 🥴 That kind of trust is special. I absolutely could have not done the birth work I did last year without the amazing team who rallied around and helped support me (especially !)

So here’s to the amazing mamas and the sweet little ones who made 2025 a year to remember. 💜🩺👣

A sweet little one decided February was a wonderful month to have a birthday. 💜👣 And we were blessed by the most amazing sunrise following the birth. So thankful for families trusting me and welcoming me doing their special time and the amazing team who helped support me!
