AI is reshaping work faster than most people can process. And underneath all the noise about automation and jobs is something much more human. An identity crisis. Happening in real time. To real people.

Here are 3 ways to navigate it ⬇️

πŸ”₯ 1. Separate your identity from your output

Most of us were taught that our value lives in our productivity. In what we can produce and deliver and contribute. So we built our identity there. And now something is coming along that can do that too.

The fix: Start asking a question most people never ask. Who am I when I'm not being useful to anyone. That identity. The one underneath the doing. Is the only one that cannot be automated. And it starts in the body not the resume.

πŸ”₯ 2. Regulate before you strategize

When the fear is loud and the uncertainty is high the worst thing you can do is immediately reach for a plan. Planning from a dysregulated nervous system produces dysregulated plans. Every time.

The fix: Before you open the laptop take 10 minutes. Feet on the floor. Slow your exhale. Let the fear move through rather than acting from inside it. What becomes available after that is categorically different from what was there before.

πŸ”₯ 3. Invest in your humanity not your skillset

Deep listening. Genuine connection. Sitting with complexity. Holding space for what cannot be measured. These are not soft skills. They are the most sophisticated capacities a human being can develop. And no machine has ever come close.

The fix: Practice one genuinely human act every day. A real conversation. Unstructured presence with someone you love. Creative expression with no output attached. You are not falling behind. You are remembering what makes you irreplaceable.

The question is not whether AI will change your work. It will. The question is whether you know who you are underneath it.
