Sound on 🔊

This is the rhythm of retreat life in Nosara, Costa Rica.

Breath moving through morning yoga.
Feet hitting sand on the run.
Waves reminding you how small—and how alive—you are.
Laughter that sneaks up on you when you least expect it.

We don’t script these days.
We step into them.

Yoga. Training. Adventure.
All of it designed to gently (and sometimes not so gently)
nudge you out of routine… and into something real.

New environments.
New challenges.
New awareness of what you’re capable of.

You don’t come here to be comfortable.
You come here to grow.

Take the trip. Become that next version of you.

Weekend Races for the Team 🌲😄

Trails, dirt, a little chaos underfoot…just how we like it.

Anne Haddad is lining up at the Storm the Park 15K as she builds toward her first 50k later this summer. This is the kind of race that doesn’t ask for perfection, it asks for presence. Find the rhythm, roll with the terrain, and keep moving forward. These are the reps that matter most.

Laura is back at it as well, carrying strong momentum from Ironman 70.3 Oceanside and Masters Lifting Nationals into the trails this weekend. Strength, endurance, and a willingness to keep showing up. With Ironman Wisconsin ahead in September, this is all part of stacking good days and keeping the engine humming.

No pressure. Just good effort, a few smiles, and getting a little better out there.

If you’ve been thinking about joining a crew that trains with intention but keeps it real, come check us out.

Endurance Squad or 1:1 coaching with BJ.
We’ll meet you where you are and help you build from there.

✨ Medal Monday ✨

This weekend was a reminder that performance comes in many forms—service, speed, strength, and the steady burn of consistency over time.

🏃‍♂️ Ryan took on the Carlsbad 5000 in the most powerful way possible—racing with Ainsley’s Angels. Big heart, big smile, and fully in service of something greater than himself.

⚡️ Luca lit up the same course with his fastest time yet, clocking a 6:48 pace. Hard work paying off… and sealed with a celebration of hot cocoa (and coffee for mom ☕️).

🏋️‍♀️ Laura stepped onto a very different stage at the 2026 Masters National Championships for Olympic lifting—just two weeks after racing Ironman 70.3 Oceanside. A powerful reminder that endurance and strength don’t compete… they coexist and elevate each other.

🔥 BJ, our head coach, stepped onto the course at the Lake Perris Triathlon and came away with the win in the Olympic Distance. At 53, he continues to embody what’s possible when intention meets consistency—bringing both fire and calm to race day.

This is the YogiTriathlete way.
Show up with purpose.
Stay present in the effort.
Trust the process—and let it reveal what’s possible.

And if you’re looking for support as you move toward your next start line…

Race day comes and goes. And for a lot of athletes, so does the structure, the focus, the support.

That post-race window matters more than people realize. It’s where consistency is either built… or lost.

Inside Endurance Squad, we keep going. With structure, coaching and community that understands the work year-round.

If you found us this weekend — this is your next step. Join today and come experience how we coach on Thursday.

Race week brings a lot — schedules, nerves, logistics, focus.

And then there are these moments.

Coffee after a swim.
Real conversations.
A few laughs.
Simple joys.

This is part of it too.

And in case you’re wondering, Coach Clark will be out there Saturday.

Fire isn’t the problem.
It’s when it runs without direction.

Most people don’t need more motivation.
They need structure for the energy they already have.

Not forcing it.
Learning how to work with it.

11 days out. Nothing is wrong.

Everything you’re experiencing is normal—more common than you think.

This is the point where your body is ready…but your mind starts scanning.

It knows something big is coming, so it goes on alert—trying to keep you safe.

Looking for what’s off.
What you missed.
What could go wrong.

And now you feel things you didn’t feel before. You question things you trusted a week ago. You want to do more—just in case.

It feels like a problem. It’s not.

There’s nothing wrong here. This is your nervous system ramping up before something that matters.

The work now is staying within yourself.

Can you notice the spiral without going with it?

Can you let the thoughts be there… without buying into them?

This is the work we coach inside YogiTriathlete—whether you’re in Endurance SQUAD or working 1:1.

How you move through this phase,
and how you manage that energy instead of leaking it, has everything to do with how you show up on the start line.

If you’re heading into Ironman 70.3 Oceanside and feeling this—you’re right where you’re supposed to be.

And if you want a place to land with it—
join us Friday, March 27th for pre-race yoga. DM us for the details.

See you out there.
