It was incredible to start our day with all of the Ironman Oceanside athletes, friends and supporters. We are thrilled to have this opportunity to share what we have found successful in endurance sports. 🙏

Race week brings a lot — schedules, nerves, logistics, focus.

And then there are these moments.

Coffee after a swim.
Real conversations.
A few laughs.
Simple joys.

This is part of it too.

And in case you’re wondering, Coach Clark will be out there Saturday.

Fire isn’t the problem.
It’s when it runs without direction.

Most people don’t need more motivation.
They need structure for the energy they already have.

Not forcing it.
Learning how to work with it.

11 days out. Nothing is wrong.

Everything you’re experiencing is normal—more common than you think.

This is the point where your body is ready…but your mind starts scanning.

It knows something big is coming, so it goes on alert—trying to keep you safe.

Looking for what’s off.
What you missed.
What could go wrong.

And now you feel things you didn’t feel before. You question things you trusted a week ago. You want to do more—just in case.

It feels like a problem. It’s not.

There’s nothing wrong here. This is your nervous system ramping up before something that matters.

The work now is staying within yourself.

Can you notice the spiral without going with it?

Can you let the thoughts be there… without buying into them?

This is the work we coach inside YogiTriathlete—whether you’re in Endurance SQUAD or working 1:1.

How you move through this phase,
and how you manage that energy instead of leaking it, has everything to do with how you show up on the start line.

If you’re heading into Ironman 70.3 Oceanside and feeling this—you’re right where you’re supposed to be.

And if you want a place to land with it—
join us Friday, March 27th for pre-race yoga. DM us for the details.

See you out there.

Medal Monday 🥇

Patience. Trust. Fitness.

Three qualities that quietly shape a special performance.

On Sunday at the Moonlight Beach Half Marathon, Philip delivered all three.

Racing with discipline from the very first mile, he stayed present, patient, and committed to the process. While others surged early, Philip trusted his plan. The result? An incredible 4-minute negative split over the second half of the race.

That kind of race doesn’t happen by accident. It’s built through consistent training, belief in the plan, and the willingness to stay calm when the starting line energy is asking you to go faster than you should.

Philip has been a part of the YogiTriathlete community for many years and continues to evolve as an athlete through our 1:1 coaching program. Standing beside him in this photo is Leslie, his partner, who also raced the half marathon and showed up strong on the day. Always special to see athletes and partners sharing the experience together.

And the exciting part?
More is coming his way.

If you feel the pull to train with purpose, surround yourself with a supportive community, and unlock new levels of endurance and mindset, come be part of something special.

Your next breakthrough might be closer than you think.

We hear this a lot in endurance sport:

“I just want to build the fitness first…
then I’ll work on the mindset.”

But the truth is the opposite.
Your mindset determines how you train.

It shapes how you approach discomfort, how you respond when workouts don’t go as planned, and whether you stay consistent when motivation fades — or shrink when your dream comes knocking.

This is why we coach the whole athlete — physiology, nervous system, and mindset — all at the same time.

The work isn’t separate.

It’s integrated. At least that what we think.

Over the years, we’ve watched something powerful happen when people train alongside others who understand the work.

The inner terrain endurance sport asks you to navigate—doubt, resilience, patience, belief. That’s our jam.

What started as two athletes sharing a philosophy has grown into something much bigger than us.

YogiTriathlete is many things, but at its heart it comes back to a few simple pillars:

Endurance.
Learning what your body and mind are capable of over time.

Coaching.
Guidance that looks at the whole athlete—science, experience, and the practices that build awareness.

Community.
Athletes supporting athletes through seasons of growth, setbacks, breakthroughs, and everything in between.

Adventure.
Because movement is meant to expand our lives, not shrink them.

And underlying it all, the work we return to again and again:

Training the mind.

Ten years of showing up together.

And the work continues.

Thank you all for being here with us.

Racing exposes the conversation happening in your head.

Fitness matters. But mindset decides what happens next.

Tonight inside Endurance Squad we’re coaching the psychology of racing:

How to stay clear when the effort rises.
How to stop negotiating with yourself.
How to execute when the moment gets loud.

This is the side of endurance sport most athletes never train.

And it changes everything.

You cannot train for today by chasing who you used to be.

Four weeks from now, many of you will stand under the arch at Ironman 70.3 Oceanside.

And somewhere in the noise of race season, comparison starts whispering — that you were faster once, leaner once, stronger once, that there was a version of you who handled this better.

Your past performance is not your potential. It prepared you, shaped you, and lives in your nervous system now.

But peak performance only happens in the present. Science is clear on this — attention anchored in the now is what unlocks clean ex*****on and sustainable output.

That’s it. It’s that simple.

You don’t rewind into fitness. You align into it. You get clear on who you are now — and build from there.

Always forward.
Never back.
