Move Forward Natural Health: Ryan Kneessi, ND Developing nutritional and supplemental strategies to address the root cause of your health concern. Dr. Ryan Kneessi is a naturopathic doctor.

He combines medical knowledge with a dedication to wellness through natural means. He began his journey into the medical world through an interest in exercise and nutrition to improve overall health, which led him to earn a bachelor’s degree in exercise science in 2005 from Salisbury University in Maryland. His interest in Naturopathic medicine did not stop at this point; instead, Dr. Kneessi decided to expand his knowledge and open his own practice. He graduated with a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from National University of Health Sciences. Prior to acquiring an education in health care, Dr. Kneessi worked as a personal trainer in Sonoma County, California, where he learned firsthand the importance of nutrition and exercise for the human body. He witnessed the effects of different exercises on the muscles and even on people’s overall mental health. This was also when he developed an interest in learning more about holistic approaches to health since he saw how non-medical procedures can significantly impact the overall health of an individual. Today, Dr. Kneessi incorporates his education and real-life experience to solve health concerns that plague the general population. He utilizes a natural approach to medicine, consisting of nutritional changes, supplements and the use of botanicals. He takes an individualized approach that factors in the patient’s medical history to achieve a better level of overall health and assist the patient with obtaining goals set by his or herself. He prides himself on integrity, genuine compassion and creating a patient-centric environment, in which his goal is to provide in-depth education and counseling to each patient to improve health and the current standards set by other providers.
