DOT’s Part 40 updates allow oral fluid testing (effective Dec 5, 2024), but that doesn’t mean you can fully implement it yet. As of Jan 6, 2026, HHS’ certified lab list shows no labs certified to run DOT oral fluid drug + validity testing.
