Residents and team members spent quality time together working on a poster sized 100 word search in the dining room all day. A fun way to keep our minds active!

We are getting ready for Halloween Trick or Treating at Grandview assembling goody bags for all the ghouls, goblins and witches. Grandview residents also enjoyed the lunchtime piano playing of Dave Poggenklass.

Grandview residents and team members competed in a soup cook-off during lunch on September 30th. Team members asked residents to share a favorite soup recipe and assist in making the soup. Soups were judged by community members Linda and Buzz Rechkemmer, Linda Jensen and Marcia Wakefield. Wooden spoon trophies were handed out to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams. There were a total of 9 entries of various soups including a peanut butter soup which surprised everyone! The 1st place was a Lasagna soup team member Sierra and her grandfather Wade, 2nd place Becky and Mike P with White Chicken Chili and 3rd Kayleigh and Aaron with Chili.
