10 years of community health impact.

Together with Weber-Morgan Health Department and our partners, we’ve:
✔ Built community-led health committees
✔ Launched programs like Produce Rx and Way to Wellness
✔ Piloted solutions to improve access to care
✔ Strengthened our response to substance use

All rooted in one thing: community.

As we celebrate 10 years of OgdenCAN, we want to pay tribute to our Community Leaders Network. It has been a thriving part of OgdenCAN for the past 5 years. Each year we have seen leaders from the East Central Neighborhood create and implement plans and programs that have enhanced the neighborhood, fostered friendships, and improved lives. Here’s to many more years of community work!

OgdenCAN is celebrating 10 years!

OgdenCAN’s hands-on work helped WSU earn its third Carnegie Classification for Community Engagement, a national recognition awarded to universities with outstanding community engagement.

To keep this momentum going, the network is launching a campaign to invest in the future. Support helps continue existing successes and fuels new opportunities. Learn about ways to give, as well as how to receive a hand-lettered anniversary poster created by a local artist, on OgdenCAN’s campaign website. https://securelb.imodules.com/s/953/lg23/form.aspx?sid=953&gid=16&pgid=2894&cid=6069

OgdenCAN - Ogden Civic Action Network

Located on the corner of 26th and Monroe, OgdenCAN is an innovative space for local partnerships within the East Central Neighborhood of Ogden, Utah. This vibrant community, filled with colorful architecture and a rich history has transformed into an area where 100 occupied homes do not have running water. Recognizing the need for BOLD change, OgdenCAN initiated a collective impact approach to assist in revitalizing the community's beautifully diverse environment. This anchoring approach is grounded in a long-term commitment from institutions, stakeholders, partners and community members; all who are dedicated to a patient discovery process that follows the energy of collaboration. In this revolutionary action plan, OgdenCAN aims to share their narrative of lasting community improvements in health, education and housing through collective alignment and residential story sharing.
