Card of the Day — The Corn (10)
I’ve been feeling called to go a little old school — returning to sharing a Card of the Day. Maybe this becomes a regular practice, maybe it’s just for today… either way, you’re invited to enjoy the journey with me.
This card arrives as a ten, marking the completion of a cycle. The corn is no longer a kernel — it has ripened and come into fruition, ready for harvest. Something has reached fullness here, closing one chapter and preparing us to move forward into what comes next.
It feels like an acknowledgment of the path behind us — the work we’ve done, the persistence we’ve carried, and the times we kept going even when we might have lost faith. There’s a sense of beginning to see what has grown from seeds planted long ago.
It also carries gentle medicine: to be especially mindful of feelings of entitlement or expectation to get something for nothing. True growth rarely comes through shortcuts. This moment calls us back to gratitude, perseverance, and humility, trusting the natural rhythm of effort and reward.
Reflections to sit with today:
✨ Where in your life does scarcity feel louder than trust right now?
Notice where fear or comparison may be shaping your perspective. Scarcity is often a story we carry rather than a truth we are living. When we return to gratitude and trust, we reconnect with ourselves.
✨ What seeds from last year are quietly becoming something real now?
Allow yourself to recognize what is already growing or coming into fruition, and meet it with appreciation rather than immediately reaching for what’s next.
✨ What do you want to begin in this new year ahead?
As new intentions take root, remember that lasting growth asks for patience and integrity. What we begin now is nurtured through perseverance, humility, and steady care.
