📍 Historic Ogden Union Station
Following breakfast, participants will march to the amphitheater, honoring Dr. King’s legacy of nonviolence and community engagement.
🎤 Keynote Speaker:
Bishop David O. McKinley
Second Baptist Church
The event is free and open to the community. Donations will be accepted.
We are also seeking volunteers.

Celebrating Kwanzaa with Joy and Community ✨
We had an amazing time at our annual Kwanzaa celebration. From meaningful conversations to laughter and connection it was a wonderful reminder of the power of community. Thank you to everyone who joined us. Your presence made it truly special!

2025 has been a year to remember for Project Success! ✨
From impactful programming to powerful partnerships, we’ve continued showing up for our community in meaningful ways.

This year, we proudly:

Hosted our 12th Annual Expect the Great High School & College Career Readiness Conference, serving 400+ high school students and 200+ college students

Organized our MLK Breakfast and March

Partnered with Black Physicians of Utah to host Black Mental Health Forums for women and men.

Hosted our Sista to Sista events, creating safe and empowering spaces for women to connect, learn, and grow.

Celebrated community through our Annual Mother’s Day Brunch and the Utah Juneteenth Festival.

Gave back through senior citizen service projects with the Rubin Center and our SWAG (Seniors With Amazing Grace) events.

Provided 400+ backpacks during our Annual Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway.

Throwback Thursday to our Sista to Sista event held last Saturday at Eats Bakery and Coffee. We were honored to welcome guest speaker and doula Nasheda, who led an impactful conversation on the importance of doula care, the pros and cons of working with a doula, and thoughtfully answered questions from our community.👶🏿🍼

Big fun on Tuesday night! Huge shout-out to our amazing team, our Harambee Youth, and our Youth Coordinator, Maisie, for making it all come together.

After two fundraisers and six tobacco-prevention events, our youth chose Rush Funplex for their end-of-year celebration. We’re so proud of them! 🎉
