And OK simply stands for Oklahoma, my home base… the place where this work began, and the place where it continues to grow. But my vision has always been bigger than one state. Self Care University OK is designed to expand across all 50 states… and eventually, across the world. Because women everywhere deserve access to truth-based wellness education that is commonly gatekept in traditional healthcare settings.

It is not a college. It is me ~ a Registered Nurse with 27+ years of experience ~ providing women with the education they’ve never been given. Self Care University OK is:

I’ve been sitting with something for a while, and I’m finally opening it.

I’m hosting a small, nurse-led NCLEX support lab for students who:
– Know the content
– Feel overwhelmed or anxious
– Struggle with how NCLEX questions are written

This is not a full review course.
This is a short, focused reset on clinical reasoning, confidence, and clarity - led by a registered nurse who understands how this exam actually works.
I’m keeping this intentionally small and simple.

Beginning in early 2026, I’ll be offering a monthly nurse-led class through Self Care University OK ~ a space for women who want clear, respectful education about their bodies without overwhelm or judgment.

So… Who Should You Work With?
This is one of the most important questions in wellness ~ and it deserves an honest answer.
The best person to work with depends on what you need.
Here’s a simple guide to help you choose wisely:
🩺 Work with a Physician or Prescriber if:
• You need diagnosis
• You need medication management
• You have acute or complex medical conditions
• You need imaging, labs ordered, or treatment decisions
They are essential ~ and irreplaceable.
🌿 Work with a Licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND) if:
• You live in a state where NDs are licensed
• You want naturopathic medical care
• You need clinical diagnosis and treatment from a naturopathic model
• You want a provider trained in botanical medicine, homeopathy, and clinical therapeutics
NDs complete years of in-person training and clinical hours. Their role is medical.

​There is a misconception that a business should "stay out of it." But when "it" involves the rights and bodily autonomy of women, it affects every single person who walks through my door.

​I’ve noticed that while some of us are raising a fuss to protect these rights, others stay quiet to appear "less confrontational." But silence often emboldens those who wish to take those rights away.

​In my practice, I stand for:
​The right to informed consent.

​The right to bodily autonomy.
​The protection of women’s health and future.

​I won't pretend these issues don't exist just to keep the peace. True wellness requires a foundation of freedom.
