Our students know what it means to need help.

In the spirit of holiday generosity, they want to pay it forward. We invite you to join us at the Holiday Maker’s Market next Friday, December 5!

Featuring unique crafts, jewelry, home decor, vintage clothes, and more — every dollar raised will support other teens in our community who are living in group homes, incarcerated or experiencing homelessness because they have aged out of foster care.

You may know that our teens are provided multi-faceted addiction and recovery support along with a quality secondary education...
But did you know they have the opportunity to learn life skills as well?! (culinary, art, and farming...to name a few)

Today, our students had an in-house lesson from our very own staff member Colin, who loves to share his vast culinary knowledge and expertise!

Not only do these projects turn out delicious, but we believe hands-on tutorials such as this help shed some light on other subjects as well, such as math and chemistry...and FUN

Saturday was a special day for the kids at Mission Academy!

Our students participated in the Oklahoma City Youth Rowing League Championships. As part of their high school curriculum, they go to Riversport every week and row together as a team. It teaches them the importance of cooperation, trust, and endurance. On Saturday, they put all of that practice to work by competing in the Regatta.

These kids are proof that addiction doesn’t have to be the end of the story. The entire Teen Recovery Solutions team is so proud of them!

One of the biggest lies people believe is that addiction is a choice. What they don’t know is that when someone is addicted, they have to have the next hit. It’s not an option.

So when someone says, “Just stop,” it’s almost as crazy as asking someone to stop breathing, or eating, or sleeping. It can’t be done. If they could stop on their own, they would have done it already.

The only way out is through evidence-based support. And the first step is compassion.

Our Story

Teen Recovery Solutions is a comprehensive drug and alcohol recovery program designed for adolescents. We offer an independent high school that helps teens catch up and advance academically in a recovery-based learning environment. During the evenings and weekends, teens participate in individual and family counseling, sober social events, and three recovery retreats a year. Our staff is particularly qualified to work with this unique demographic that includes licensed counselors, certified teachers, and recovery coaches who serve as mentors to youth and family. We believe that recovery should be fun!

Since my son started at Teen Recovery Solutions, his entire outlook on life has changed, and so has mine.
