Millie graduated physical therapy today! She’ll continue with occupational therapy and will be starting speech therapy soon. Couldn’t be more proud of our girl 🧡

Starting cycle 4 of maintenance therapy! That means another lumbar puncture, IV chemo, and a round of oral steroids at home. Some days feel long, but we’re holding onto the hope of the day Millie finishes this chapter for good. What a celebration that will be. 🧡

One week to go until the St. Jude Walk! Many of you know St. Jude holds such a special place in our hearts, and having our family and friends alongside us makes this day even more meaningful. It turns the walk into a true celebration of hope and community, not just a fundraiser.
It would mean the world to us if you joined! Plus, it’s SO much fun and there’s so much in store this year. I’ve had the honor of serving on the committee, and knowing what’s planned has me PUMPEDDDDD.

✨ Big milestone ✨
Millie’s first day at Mother’s Day Out! Her labs have improved greatly so she’s able to attend. We’re hopeful to find a good balance with her meds soon to keep her feeling well!
What made today extra special is that she’s following in Evy’s footsteps - same school, sissy’s backpack, and even one of the same teachers!
We’re also excited because after 6.5 years daddy finally gets his break!

So proud of our girly and thankful for this step forward!

We figured we would give an update since Millie’s most recent hospital stay. She was admitted because of a fever of unknown origin with no other symptoms, so we worked our way up to a new antibiotic that has a side effect of additional fever. Fortunately, she still had no other symptoms but out of precaution, they decided to do another bone marrow biopsy to rule out the possibility of relapse.

We got two out of the three results back and they show no sign of leukemia cells so we think the fevers were just a result of a bug paired with the side effects of the antibiotic. Now we just need her counts to recover. We’re trying to find a good balance with all of her meds. Hoping she can start a mother’s day out at the end of this month!

Still here. We’ve finally been fever free for over 24 hours. We were so hopeful to get to go home today but Millie’s ANC (absolute neutrophil count) has been trending down so out of precaution they’re doing a bone marrow biopsy tomorrow. We could really use some extra prayers that nothing scary shows up on those results.

Asking for prayers for our Millie girl. She’s been in the hospital since Wednesday night with stubborn fevers, and so far we still don’t know the cause. We’re hoping it’s just a bug that will pass soon.
This morning was pretty special because our very own grandpa came by and brought Phineas over. Phinnie is in the Pink Paws program with St. Francis. And yesterday, grandpa asked one of his friends to come by and Miss Presley paid us a visit too. Much needed therapy 🧡

Lumber puncture this morning along with first bone marrow biopsy at home for the first time in a loooooong time! Hoping after this one we can space them out longer. It’s such a blessing to be able to do this procedure at our home clinic and as always, we are so grateful for St. Jude. Keep our girl in your prayers for a clear report. 🩷
