Are you swallowing correctly? 🤔👅
Most people assume swallowing is automatic… but how you swallow matters more than you think.
A dysfunctional swallow can cause:
✨ Mouth breathing
✨ Tongue thrust
✨ Crowded teeth
✨ Jaw tension + TMJ symptoms

A correct swallow should include:

Here are the main types 👇
🦷 Myofascial pain – from overworked or tight muscles (often linked to clenching, grinding, or poor oral rest posture)
🦴 Arthritic / Articular pain – from inflammation or changes within the jaw joint itself (TMJ)
⚡️ Neuralgic pain – nerve-related, often sharp, electric, or radiating
