Meet Eden! Eden's eyes like to rest outwards. This makes it difficult for her to maintain clear, single vision at near and far distances. Last week, Eden was struggling with our Cheiroscope (tracing) machine. This machine simulates where the eyes rest at a distance, represented by the patient's drawing. This week, after learning how to pull in her eyes from far away, Eden has completed her first successful tracing! We are so proud of her hard work. Way to go, Eden! 🎉🥳

Office Announcement:

Walesby Vision Center will be CLOSED 11/14/2025 for any/all comprehensive exams and glasses pick-ups as our employees will be volunteering in Orlando for Special Olympics. If you would like to schedule an appointment or speak with a member of our staff, we will have someone available to answer the phones during our absence. We

Ayla started at our clinic last year in August, and boy, has she made some awesome progress! Her depth perception went from significantly deficient to almost perfect, and her eye alignment has never looked better! We are so proud of her.

What is PRISM🧐⁉️

Prism is a wedge-shaped lens that bends light, making an image appear to shift depending on the direction of the apex.

We utilize prism lenses in Vision Therapy to work on spatial relations, train eye movement, or to add either resistance or assistance to a routine.

Ian does awesome work with these prism lenses—way to go, Ian!
