Something I never talk about, but is the biggest aspect of my mom life, and that is homeschooling. I have been homeschooling my kids for 13 plus years! Currently my oldest are in school half time, Virtual the rest of the time...but I full-time homeschool my daughter.
I never expected to be a homeschool mom but it fits with my DIY lifestyle. I love the relationship building time I have had with my kids over the years, and I have taught many homeschool kids classes.

Now that I have such a beautiful studio space in Oley, I am offering some homeschool classes to youth for my daughters sake and also because I feel there is a need for more classes for kids in the homeschool community.

Today's class was Cursive! We had a great time! Friday mid-morning/ earlt afternoon will be for kids classes at Sheep Hill Herbs
Cursive, Fiber Arts, and Botany.

🫖✨I am looking for a few hosts this season for Tea & Herbal Craft Gatherings for small groups. 🌿🌿

Invite a few friends, and I will come to you for a relaxing afternoon of tea, conversation, and a simple hands-on herbal craft. These gatherings are designed to be cozy, creative, and beginner-friendly.

Each guest will enjoy one of my signature herbal tea blends (Chai, Love Me Tea, Relax Me Tea, or Vitamin C Tea) together while learning to make a small herbal creation to take home such as
*Lavender sachets
*Dream pillows
*Pressed flower bookmarks
*Herbal bath salts

All materials are provided, and the projects are simple enough to complete during our gathering.

A little about me: ✨
I am a Master Herbalist and hold a PhD in Herbal Medicine, and I love sharing traditional herbal knowledge in ways that are warm, practical and enjoyable.

These gatherings are perfect for:✨
*Friend groups
*Book clubs
*Garden clubs
*Birthdays
*Ladie's afternoons

How it works:✨
*You host and gather a small groups (usually 6-10 people)
*I travel to your location and bring all the materials
*Guests enjoy herbal tea in real teacups and saucers
*Guests enjoy tea and create a simple herbal craft to take home

If you would like to host a TEA & HERBAL CRAFT GATHERING, send me a message and I will share details about pricing and available dates.

I look forward to creating a cozy afternoon together. 🍵🌼

Today was a perfect day for talking a walk, and noticing the plants trying to peek through snow, and mud. In Vermont they call this time of year "mud season." Typically, we never have as much snow as upper New England, and thus do not have all the mud. This winter gave us a blanket that has lasted for weeks. I think we all know though- SPRING is quickly approaching.
I am going to be offering my Foraging Herbalist Certificate 🌿🌿program- attached to the Herb Walks I will be offering April- October. 🌼🌼
To participate in the program, you need to begin with the first walk, April 11th, and continue to attend 6 of the 8 walks I will be offering. You will also need to complete a Plant/ Art journal (I will show you want is required)... as well as participate in a private Facebook group each month, to receive the Certificate.

Cost- $55 per month April- October

Herb walks will also be offered PER DIEM- at $24 per walk. You can pick and choose which you want to attend, and this is for those not interested in the Certificate program.
Message me to secure your SPOT in the Program- I am only accepting 8 applicants for the Foraging Herbalist Certificate. ✨😊

Here is a video about MULLEIN- our topic for class today, rescheduled for the weather. You can see how I gather these delicate flowers to use to make infused Mullein oil for earaches.

Best place to buy mullein flowers- https://get.aspr.app/SH1a4N

Please do not buy mullein flowers on Amazon, I have a great video I am posting today that shows you why you should not get them on Amazon. Go over to Sheep Hill Herbs on YouTube.

We finished up the first Rughooking workshop I have ever offered. It was great! Everyone did amazing! You can see me holding a large rug which I am choosing to call Heritage Textiles. It is a work in progress. The largest piece I have ever made. 3 x 3.5 feet. I am going back to my country and Vermont connections with this art. It took a while to get started or in a flow because the size was intimidating
To give you an idea, my students made 7x7 inch pieces, see the beautiful Sunflower Erin Mathews The approximate time to make something like that is 7 hours!
The large Textile I am making will clock 100 hours for sure! They are one of a kind, heirloom, heritage...made with love and intention.

Message me if you have an interest in me offering more workshops or in commissioned statement pieces.⭐️🌼🧵🧶🪡

I loved this class! We had so much fun writing love letters. Personally I decided to do a time capsule-esque letter encouraging my future self. I sealed the letter and plan on opening it February 2027.💌

We also enjoyed my favorite Tea Blend with Rose petals and Chamomile. A great way to warm up on a frigid Sunday in winter.❄️❄️

Check out my next class where we will be working with herbs for cold and flu prevention.
