During OT we turned these number cards into a whole-child activity:
🔹 Putting numbers in order to build early math & sequencing
🔹 Using both hands together to hold, flip, and place the cards (bilateral coordination)
🔹 Strengthening fingers and hands as we pinch and slide each card into place
🔹 Working on visual scanning/attention by finding the “next” number in the deck
🔹 Practicing waiting, turn-taking, and following directions
When learning feels like a game, our students stay engaged longer and build the motor, visual, and thinking skills they need for the classroom. 💪🏽📚
Love seeing that confidence grow with each card they place!
