This Christmas, we’re giving the gift of time and memories 🎄
This year, in addition to wrapping boxes and bows, we want to wrap families in love. 💕

In honor of Freya’s 5th birthday, “Freya’s Library” began at Methodist Women’s, providing books for families to read together as they spend precious time with their children. We’re now extending this idea to Nebraska Medicine’s bereavement suite, helping families create those once-in-a-lifetime moments. Each family will be able to take their book home as a memento of their child now in Heaven. These books become keepsakes, tender reminders of love shared and memories made before saying goodbye. 🌈

In a season that can be especially hard for families missing their little ones, this project is a meaningful way for our community to honor our children in Heaven this Christmas by sharing love, comfort, and the gift of time and memories with grieving families.

We’ve already purchased wholesale copies of “Jesus Loves Me” and “Lots of Love, Little One.” Now, we’re asking for your help to add books that gently explain grief to siblings and parents.

You can help by:�📚 Purchasing a book from our Amazon Wishlist (link in comments)�💝 Making a monetary donation so we can order more books for families. (PayPal link in comments)
Each donated book will include a special “In Honor / In Memory” sticker, remembering your child and sharing their light with another family.

Together, let’s make sure no family walks this path without comfort, love, and a beautiful story to hold onto. 💫

MilkWorks is proud to partner with the Mothers' Milk Bank. We serve as a donation and outreach center (also known as a milk depot) in Lincoln and Omaha!

When an interested mother is approved to donate her excess milk, MilkWorks accepts the donated milk and safely transports it to the Denver Milk Bank for pasteurization. Approved donors can drop off their milk during open hours at either one of our locations.
