So many families wait until the very last days to call hospice.
Around the holidays, we see it even more.

They want one more Christmas. One more appointment. One more “maybe things will turn around.”

By the time hospice is called, there is almost no time left for:

Comfort

Conversation

Closure

Hospice is not supposed to be a last minute emergency.
It is meant to be a season of support.

If your loved one is declining, in and out of the hospital, or told there are no more curative options, it is not too early to ask about hospice. It might already be late.

Last night was a full evening of connection and community for Endless Journey Hospice.

We started at the Greater Omaha Chamber holiday open house, connecting with fellow members, business leaders and partners who help make Omaha such a strong ecosystem for collaboration and innovation.

We then headed to the Mayor’s Christmas Party, celebrating Omaha’s momentum, leadership and the people who quietly keep this city moving forward every day.

As a hospice organization, we sit in some of the most tender moments of people’s lives. Being in rooms like these matters. It is where relationships are built, partnerships are formed and future collaborations begin that ultimately impact the patients and families we serve.

Grateful to the Greater Omaha Chamber and the Office of the Mayor for creating spaces where business, community and service intersect. Looking forward to deepening these connections in 2026.

It’s the little things that stay with us—
the way they sat in “their” chair,
the laugh from the next room,
the hand you still reach for without thinking.

For some, this season means full tables.
For others, it means an empty chair, changing health,
or a caregiver doing everything they can on very little left.

Endless Journey Hospice is here for those in-between spaces—
to add comfort, guidance, and support
so, these days feel a little less frightening and a little more meaningful.

Here’s to more quiet grace, more shared laughter,
