I did it! One year sober. 365 wonderful days without a drink. 365 amazing chances to make memories with loved ones, to write, to speak with spirit, to know myself on a whole new level. It's with tears of joy that I want to offer everyone a heartfelt thank you. I appreciate your supportive comments, emails, and texts. It hasn't been easy, but it's all been worth it. 365 days ago, on the night I started this journey, a new spirit guide named Freddie came to me in my dreams. He said he was here to help me walk this new path, and to share a story with me... a story of who we were in our past lifetime - best friends in 1920s New York City. He kept his promise, and here I am today, halfway done writing that book. It's a true story about breaking cycles, keeping promises, and relationships that transcend time, space, and even death. It's about love growing wings and flying at altitudes that can't be reached. I cannot WAIT to share the whole story with you. But the most important story of all is the one we're currently living. So, treasure each moment. Enjoy each day however you can. And no matter what struggles you're going through, please know that you're not alone. It's true that without the darkness, we wouldn't appreciate the light. So, if you're in a chapter of surviving, a time of thriving might be right around the corner. After dedicating my life to helping others, I finally got around to helping the one person waiting patiently in the back of the line. Myself! And I must admit, it feels wonderful. Thanks again, everyone. Take care of yourself. Big hugs! -Andy
