Join us for an 18-hole golf scramble this May at The Pines Country Club, benefiting the Fremont Alzheimer’s Collaboration, Valley VFW, and Heartland for Hope Food Pantry – Valley.🏌️‍♂️⛳

At the Passion and Aging Conference learning to make getting older celebrated and included instead of dreaded and useless. Quote from today “Getting older is mandatory. Growing up is voluntary.” We all know what it is like to be young but none of us know what it is like to be old. Let’s learn from those who are living it and their journey that isn’t over yet!

Most seniors want to age at home. Here are a few doable updates to make this more successful and safe:
• Grab bars in bathrooms and showers
• Stable seating in showers
• Brighter lighting in hallways and stairways
• Handrails on both sides of stairs
• Removing any loose rugs or tripping hazards
