Are you finding it difficult to put the phone down this finals week? 🤔

Don’t be ashamed, and let me fill you in on a simple trick. Did you know you can go to your settings and set up a time limit for using your apps? Did you know that there are apps out there to lock apps until a certain time?

To get started head to settings > screentime > app limit > add limit > choose category. Or look at some apps includeing Focus Lock, Offtime, Moment, Freedom, Cold Turkey, etc.

Stay focused, and have your finals game on LOCK🔒 !!!

Spending too much time on social media??
According to Statistica.com “As of 2022, the average daily social media usage of internet users worldwide amounted to 147 minutes per day, up from 145 minutes in the previous year.” This is 2 hours and 24 minutes a day 🙊
Heres some tips to help you get offline and break this unhealthy habit:
1) Cut back slowly. ...Set restrictions for yourself: For example, reserve time in the morning and evening for social media and cut back the time each day.
2) Find activities to distract yourself from social. ...Ger outdoors, read a book… just get your eyes off that screen.
3) Watch shows and movies on TV instead of a tablet, computer or phone this will help prevent distractions from social media notifications
4) And while watching TV, keep your hands busy. … dont get distracted with your phone
