Childbirth Education with The Well Birth Services ✨ Join us for a comprehensive, interactive childbirth education class designed to help you feel confident, informed, and excited for birth. This two-day course (2 hours each day) is held monthly, typically the 2nd to last Thursday & Friday, and is taught by Kylie Foreman, Full Spectrum Doula, Childbirth Educator & Student Midwife.

Together, we cover A–Z anatomy and physiology of childbirth, the stages and phases of labor, birth preparation, postpartum planning, newborn care, and breastfeeding, with space for questions, discussion, and real-life application. Light refreshments are typically provided, and the atmosphere is supportive, relaxed, and engaging.

Clients often leave feeling more empowered, more prepared, and deeply supported, with continued access to our agency for additional resources and care if needed.

💫 Cost: $300
📅 Next class: February 19th & 20th 6-8 PM

When you’re ready to book, send us a DM & let us know which month you’d like to attend.
We can’t wait to support you on this journey!

For generations, cultures across the world understood what we are only beginning to remember again:
the first 40 days after birth are sacred.

A time for rest.
For warmth.
For nourishment and quiet.
For the body to heal and the nervous system to settle.
For a mother to be cared for as deeply as her baby.

And yet, modern society asks women to do the opposite.
To shrink back.
To perform recovery.
To “bounce back” as if birth did not rearrange every cell.

But healing is not linear.
Milk takes time to flow.
Hormones take time to settle.
Bonding takes presence.
And babies were never meant to be raised by exhausted mothers pushed back into productivity.

The push to bounce back does not serve women.
It does not serve babies.
And it does not serve families.

Rest is not weakness, it is wisdom.
It is how bones knit, milk establishes, confidence grows, and mothers are made.

The fourth trimester deserves the same reverence as pregnancy and birth.
Because when we slow down enough to care for mothers, everyone benefits.

When we support one mother, we support a family.
When we support families, we strengthen a community.

At The Well, we believe care doesn’t exist in isolation. A mother who feels seen, informed, and supported pours that steadiness into her home, her relationships, and the generations that follow.

This work is about more than birth days and postpartum visits, it’s about creating a place where families can return to again and again for nourishment, guidance, and care.

This is why we do the work.
And why we do it together. 🤍

Postpartum isn’t something to “get through.”
It’s something to be supported through.

Those early days are tender, raw, powerful, and very real.
Your body is healing.
Your emotions are shifting.
Your family is finding its rhythm.

Postpartum doula care offers calm hands, nourishing support, and reassurance when everything feels new. From rest and recovery to newborn care and emotional grounding… you don’t have to hold it all alone.

We also offer placenta encapsulation as a gentle, traditional option some families choose to support energy, mood, and recovery during the postpartum season.

Support doesn’t mean you’re struggling.
It means you’re honoring yourself.

When you’re ready, we’re here. 🤍

As always, beautiful beautiful photos by Kate

Interventions can be lifesaving.
But routine intervention changes how birth unfolds.

Doulas are there to bridge the gap
between intuition and information,
between the birthing body and the hospital system.

You deserve continuous, holistic support
through every decision, every turn.

Birth works best when mamas are supported, not rushed. 🤍

✨ Community Care Friday ✨
We’re so excited to kick off a new series dedicated to highlighting the incredible practitioners in our holistic health community, because care is better when it’s connected and community focused. 🤍

This week, we’re featuring The Pelvic Method, a pelvic floor physical therapy practice supporting men and women through every stage of life. Their whole-body, personalized approach focuses on getting to the root cause… promoting strength, restoring function, and rebuilding confidence in your body.

From women’s and men’s pelvic health to prenatal support, postpartum recovery, and menopausal care, this is the kind of grounded, thoughtful support we love to see in our community — especially for our mamas at The Well.

Follow along as we continue to spotlight the people doing this work so well in our community. 🫶🏼

Most people know oxytocin as the hormone of love 🤍
But what often gets missed is this: oxytocin is also the hormone of safety.

Oxytocin is released when the body feels calm, protected, and supported. It thrives in environments where you feel seen, respected, and undisturbed…
not rushed, watched, or afraid.

And because oxytocin is the hormone that drives labor, bonding, and breastfeeding, how safe you feel matters deeply during birth.

This is why your birth environment is more than just a backdrop. Your location, your provider, and the people surrounding you all influence how your nervous system responds, and in turn, how your body labors.

Birth isn’t something the body does through force or fear.
It’s something the body does best when it feels safe.

Choose your care intentionally.
Having a doula and being selective about your care provider can make a powerful difference in your birth experience, offering continuity, advocacy, and steady support so your body can do what it’s designed to do.

You deserve care, support, and a birth space that honors safety.
