Happy Wednesday ladies! We hope you had a restful weekend. Summer is already slowly creeping up on us, so we are so excited to share more of our speakers with you this week!

For today’s super special guest, Meet: Susan Huang, MD 🌟

Dr. Susan Huang is the Chief Medical Officer of the Providence South Division and the Chief Executive Officer of the Providence Health Network. The South Division of Providence includes 17 hospitals, over 10,000 physician medical staff, and a care network that encompasses the full continuum of care in California. The Providence Health Network is a California health services plan which includes a network of 30+ hospitals, and over 18,000 primary care and specialist physicians and providers.

Prior to these roles, Dr. Huang was the Chief Value Medical Officer of the Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group/ Palo Alto Medical Foundation of Sutter Health and served on the Board of Directors for Sutter Health Plus health plan. She is also a healthcare innovator with industry experience who helped develop a CE-marked medical device at Google. A board-certified dermatologist by background, she received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School, completed her medical internship at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, residency in the Harvard dermatology program where she was selected to be chief resident, and completed executive education at the Harvard Business School. She is former teaching faculty of Harvard Medical School.

In the meantime, here’s something else to be super excited about. Meet another one of our amazing guest speakers: Kathleen Stillwell, The Doctors Group 🌟

Kathleen Stillwell earned master’s degrees in both Health Services Administration and Public Administration. She is a registered nurse and Certified Professional Health Care Risk Manager (CPHRM). Ms. Stillwell is a nationally recognized expert in healthcare risk management with 39 years of experience in clinical risk management, professional liability claims management, compliance, and high-risk underwriting. Her expertise includes hospitals, medical practices, and integrated healthcare organizations. Kathleen is a frequent presenter for conferences, physicians, and health care organizations, authors articles and creates education programs for physicians and health care professionals.

Kathleen serves on Advisory Boards for Chapman University, College of Health and Behavioral Sciences in Irvine, CA, UC Riverside Women in Leadership Executive Program, and Brandman University Nurse Advisory Board. She trained with the California Medical Association (CMA) to volunteer coach physicians and nurses for the CMA Care 4 Caregivers program. Kathleen has served as faculty for the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management and is published in the American Hospital Society Risk Management Handbook for Healthcare Organizations. She has held numerous leadership positions with national and state risk management and quality organizations, including Board Member for the American Society for Quality (ASQ), President of the CA State Patient Care Assessment Council, Board member for California League of Nursing, adjunct faculty for Woodbury University and the University of San Francisco. She served on the Advisory Board of King International, Inc., and is a Charter Member of the Business Renaissance Institute.

Happy Monday Everyone! We hope you’re battling through those beginning of the week blues, but if you’re having trouble… we sure have a great warrior to introduce to you today!

Meet one of our guest speakers: Dr. Flora Sinha 🌟

Dr. Flora Sinha is a mindset transformation coach, board certified internist, speaker, and an IVF warrior. Her own mindset journey stemmed from her experiences as a first generation South Asian, a mother in medicine, postpartum depression, and most importantly, her battle with secondary infertility. There was a point in time where she was stuck in a negative cycle of thinking and didn’t recognize herself. Mindset shifting changed her life. Seeing the benefits,sht started to teach the same techniques to her primary care patients. Dr. Sinha coaches her patients to build a foundation of healthy habits to help with disease prevention and manage current diagnoses.

She then saw a need for her expertise in women all around her. She recognized these women as driven, accomplished, and motivated who also felt stuck and dissatisfied with their current state. Dr. Flora launched a successful 1:1 mindset transformation coaching business in 2022 to help women build a foundation of tools to apply to their daily obstacles and eventually help them rewire their patterns of thinking... to help them get out of their ruts.

Dr. Flora Sinha received her medical degree from the University of Arizona and completed her residency at the University of California - Irvine. She currently wears multiple hats, including practicing internal medicine with Cedars Sinai Medical Group. Dr. Flora Sinha is married to her college sweetheart, who is an interventional pediatric cardiologist, and they have a beautiful 7 year old daughter, along with the newest addition to their family, their 1 year old mini goldendoodle. Outside of practicing medicine and coaching, Dr. Flora enjoys fitness, travel, dancing, being a foodie, and delving into wellness. Her social media platform can be found on instagram . Meet one of our guest speakers, Dr. Dagny Zhu! 🌟

Dr. Dagny Zhu is a cornea, cataract, and refractive surgeon and Medical Director and Partner of VISION Eye Centers in Rowland Heights, CA.
She graduated top of her class from UCLA and received her M.D. from Harvard Medical School. She did her residency at the prestigious Doheny Eye Institute/University of Southern California (USC) and completed her cornea and refractive fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, consistently ranked the #1 eye hospital in the country.
Dr. Zhu serves as medical advisor to multiple ophthalmic companies and has published, lectured, and been featured in over 200 scientific journal articles, book chapters, professional meetings, and press features including Forbes, the Today Show, Huffington Post, InStyle, and CNN.
In addition to laser vision correction and premium IOL cataract and lens-based surgery, Dr. Zhu performs all surgeries of the anterior segment including the EVO ICL, corneal transplantation, crosslinking and INTACS for keratoconus, and pterygium surgery. She sits on the editorial board of major ophthalmology publications, lectures to peers worldwide, and leads cutting-edge clinical research studies on the latest presbyopia treatments. She holds leadership positions in the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and is a member of the prestigious AECOS and Cedars Aspens societies.
Additionally, Dr. Zhu has garnered a large social media presence as a Healio podcast co-host and healthcare influencer () where she educates on eye health and champions for women in medicine. For her professional and community work, Dr. Zhu was most recently named a "Rising Star in Ophthalmology" by Super Doctors, "Top 50 Global KOL" by MediaMice, "Top 40 under 40" by Ophthalmology Management, and

Meet one of our guest speakers: Dr. Brittany Barreto 🌟

Every day Dr. Barreto dedicates her work to advancing women’s health innovation by equipping key stakeholders with data-driven insights and strategic advice on the femhealth market. She received a doctorate from Baylor College of Medicine in Molecular and Human Genetics where she discovered a small RNA that regulates genomic mutation rate. She founded several businesses including Pheramor, the world's first DNA-based dating app, and is a US patent holder on predicting personality from DNA. Additionally, she worked in venture capital and launched the Gulf Coast Branch for Capital Factory, the most active venture fund in Texas. Dr. Barreto noticed how underserved the women's health (femtech) industry was and set out to bring awareness, resources, and capital to it. She hosts the #1 femtech podcast, FemTech Focus, co-founded an early-stage femtech investment firm, Coyote Ventures, and founded FemHealth Insights a boutique consulting firm with a market research software tool specializing in women's health innovation.

Amy Shah, MD, is a double-board-certified medical doctor and nutrition expert with training from Cornell, Columbia, and Harvard Universities. Drawing from her background in internal medicine and allergy/immunology, as well as her own wellness journey, she has dedicated her practice to helping her patients feel better and live healthier through her integrative and holistic approach to wellness. She was named one of mindbodygreen’s Top 100 Women in Wellness to Watch in 2015 and appears regularly on national television shows and podcasts and in national magazines.
