Joe Rogan shares his thoughts on what is “real” when asked about the legitimacy of DMT fairies. Can’t applaud this response enough. DMT especially the 5MEO-DMT journeys will bring about incredible indescribable experiences. It does re-define what reality is - “its fluid” as Rogan explains. He also speaks to “these things that are there and they communicate with you” … YES! “They seem to also know you, know all of your bu****it, and be able to see right through you.. but they dont seem to be you, they seem to be something else. Thats all we know.”

Coming off a DMT trip - you might think you have visited a well of souls, seen the afterlife .. visited a form of aliens (as Joe Rogan coins) but to project that onto anyone else or claim you KNOW is complete hogwash.

We cannot be so bold as to assume we understand - and box in what is infinite potential!

Kambô 6: some thoughts from our retreat participants … “My kambo experience was one of clearing and purging physically, mentally and emotionally. It has helped me release some emotional triggers. My reaction to those triggers are coming from a place of peace and calm which is refreshing. I definitely will do kambo again given the opportunity.”
“I was initially very excited to experience Kambo. I couldn’t wait to feel the benefits resulting from this medicine. After the first ceremony I was left feeling nauseous and a bit tired. Day two came and I was again excited to get to “better” results, I wasn’t purging very much and was left feeling nauseous throughout the day. Day 3 - I had decided I was not participating in another round. We sat and chatted with Able, our resident Shamon, and was immediately put at ease. He told me to listen to my body and if the body needed rest then there was no need to proceed. I quickly realized that it was fear holding me back and immediately started to intake my water. I am so thankful that I did, the 3rd day was much different. I purged significantly and felt completely energized when the ceremony was completed.
If presented with the opportunity to participate in another Kambo ceremony I would without hesitation.”

Kambô 5: On the second day the applications were increased. We received several new “dots” and went much deeper in the reaction to the venom. Head pounding, eyes completely bloodshot and face swelling… the notion of panic isn’t far away. Deep breathing and surrendering to the purge is what finally sets you free. Again, the ideation of clarity and electrifying sensations run through the physical body.

Kambô 4: We did multiple rounds in consecutive days. Some in our group did 2 days while others did 3. Abel began our first session with application of 3 “dots” where the skin is burned, peeled open with a surgical tool, and then covered with the Amazonian Monkey Frog venom. This ceremony was one that all of us were incredibly nervous about, as it was all of our first time experiencing the technique. Prior to the ceremony commencement, we consume 1.5-2 liters of water. Within minutes, nausea and dizziness begin. The vomiting and purge comes next, but for some the threshold isn’t reached to actually vomit and the nausea can continue to last all day. Despite how uncomfortable and frankly unenjoyable the experience can seem, we all felt it was worthwhile. After the discomfort subsides, there is an electrifying feeling as the substance courses through the body. Said to rapidly detox the lymphatic system and also clear emotional stagnation, post ceremony is quite invigorating. After a nap and some relaxation, there is clarity plus sensations of vitality.

Kambô 1: Used as a cleansing and detoxifying ceremony, this traditional medicine uses Amazonian tree frog venom. Pictured here, the kambo is dried onto the wooden pallet and eventually moistened and worked into small applications that goes onto burned markings on the skin.
