Too young for traditional myo? Start this at home!
Hi, my name is Emilee and I am a myofunctional therapist and mom of 2 boys, ages 3 and 1. One of the most common questions that I get asked is,
“What can I do for my kids under age 4?”
There aren’t a lot of people who work with this age, so I decided that I would share some things that I do with my own kids!

✨Popsicle stick breathing✨
1️⃣ Have your child hold a Popsicle stick between relaxed lips. They should not be biting it.
2️⃣ Find a quiet activity like reading, or playing with blocks or toys.
3️⃣ Have them hold the popsicle stick while they are playing for as long as they will. (We’re going for fun, not stressful!)
4️⃣ Practice as often as you like.
Make it fun!
✨Set a timer and have them compete with themselves on how long they can hold it.
✨Do it with them!
✨Get everyone involved and make it a whole family competition.
