Set clear boundaries without guilt
Not everyone deserves access to you. If something feels draining, overwhelming, or off, trust that feeling. Say no. Take space. Protect your time. Your energy is valuable and you do not have to explain why you are choosing yourself.
Check how you feel after interactions
Your body will always tell you the truth. After talking to someone, ask yourself do I feel lighter or heavier. If you feel drained, anxious, or tense, that is a sign your energy is being affected. Limit access and reset your space with quiet time, fresh air, or stillness.
Your energy is your power.
Protect it, honor it, and watch how your life shifts.
